Sticks and Stones
May break my bones
But my God will not forsake me!
You, Him?
"who say to a tree, 'You are my father,' and to a stone, 'You gave me birth.' For they have turned their back to me, and not their face. But in the time of their trouble they say, 'Arise and save us!' But where are your gods that you made for yourself? Let them arise, if they can save you, in your time of trouble; for as many as your cities are your gods, O Judah." (Jeremiah 2:27-28)
What do fox-holes, death-beds, and life's troubles have in common? None harbor atheists. Are you a follower of Christ in fair, and foul, conditions? Will you follow at all?
"And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all." -Ephesians 1:22-23

Why Do We Call 'Em "Prayer Warriors"?
It's been said... "Prayer is not preparation for the battle; prayer 'is' the battle!"
"I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf," (Romans 15:30)
Pray as if it makes a difference, then trust the Lord for the outcome.
