How do we follow Christ? What is a true follower of Christ? The Scriptures, our base and guide for "who" Christ was and is, tells us that we must "keep" His commandments. Not flawless accounting of, but a changed-heart's desire to be obedient to His will and ways. "Whoever says "I know him" but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked." (1 John 2:4-6 ESV
) The Lord Jesus is the truth, the way, and the life. He is the beginning and the end of all things. He is never changing ....the same yesterday, today, and forever. Chris is the constant in an inconsistent world. Above all else ...make following Him your goal and purpose.
